Show your support by donating to the Philippine Red Cross to aid those families affected by Typhoon Haiyan.
I know this post is not really school related to my program and my arts, but this just breaks my heart. Seeing people suffer all over the world, especially in my motherland, Philippines, really gets to me. Although I am in Canada, it seems like I can’t help at all. By making a donation, no matter how small or large, it does make a huge difference.
This Remembrance Day, I am so grateful for my family, friends, my health and having a roof over my head. I wish these disasters never happened, but I think it’s important for people to remember that we can do so much more without material things. Food, water and shelter are often taken for granted and I hope people will understand the importance of being more appreciative for our blessings. No matter what your religion or faith is, please say a little prayer for Philippines and for those who lost their homes and families. If it happened to you or someone you love, wouldn’t you try and give whatever you can to help?
